Common questions

What is the difference between cabinet refinishing and cabinet refacing?

Cabinet refinishing keeps your existing cabinet doors and drawer fronts and restores them with new stain or paint, hardware, and touch-ups. Cabinet refacing keeps your existing cabinet boxes but replaces the doors, drawer fronts, trim, panels, and hardware for a completely new look without a full rebuild.

Can you refinish cabinets on site?

Yes. We finish in our shop or on site, depending on the job. On-site work starts with full masking and protection of the kitchen.

Can you change the color of stained cabinets?

Yes. We take dated stained cabinets to a new painted color — like a cherry kitchen refinished in a soft greige — without replacing the cabinets.
